The story

The engine at the heart of this platform spent its first life as an internal tool, checking live production sites with hundreds of thousands of internal links. It had to record where links appeared, respect each server, report progress honestly, and verify the outcome before completing a job.

Turning the site scanner into a product meant preserving the part that made it useful: every recommendation had to be linked to observed evidence. Reports, AI visibility, monitoring and the studios were built around this rule. The interface may change, but the underlying standard may not.

The people behind the platform

Swiss Knife SEO is built and operated by Visual Media Factory, an independent freelance company working with clients around the world, led by Sani Karic, an SEO who still performs technical audits every week and works directly on the platform and client sites. The platform is supported by Digital Oasis, a Sarajevo-based software engineering company that develops digital products and infrastructure. This keeps product decisions based on practical SEO work and tested on real websites before they reach the platform.

What we stick to

• Evidence about vanity. Each number leads to the pages behind it, and each AI answer is saved with the sources returned by the engine.
• Honest results. A first crawl usually lands in the 20s to 40s. We say it instead of leading you into inaction.
• No made-up data. We do not falsify indices, estimates or ratings. If a number comes from an external source, we label it.
