Get from a new account to the first verified repair

Set up one useful site, run a baseline crawl, choose the highest value task, and schedule the next check. Every onboarding step can be skipped and reopened later.

Set up a useful workspace

Sign up for free and the app opens a guided, completely skippable setup. Add your website with URL and the platform will retrieve its favicon and get to work. Two optional connections make everything smarter: Search Console gives your results real query data and GA4 gives each crawled page its traffic. Both use Google's own consent screen, both are read-only, and each can use a different Google account.

If you run multiple sites, add them as separate projects. Everyone keeps their own crawls, schedules, keywords, prompts, and notification settings, and Portfolio View lists them side by side.

Run the baseline crawl

Start the first audit from the dashboard or site page. Fast, Standard and Deep presets cover most cases; The full setup page adds URL caps, depth, worker counts, sitemap management, and parameter controls if you need them. As the crawl runs, you'll see live crawl and queue counters, and the phase label tells the truth: Crawl, then Retain, then Rate.

One thing you should know early on: a crawl initially uses one of your monthly crawls. Open reports, filter tables and then export, read saved results and never consume anything.

Read the health score honestly

The score ranges from 0 to 100 and is calculated from weighted issues per page crawled. The first crawls usually occur in the 20s to 40s, and that's normal, no judgment. Thematic sub-scores for crawlability, internal linking, on-URL, and security show where the number comes from, and each number leads to the exact pages behind it. Value is there to change, so consider the first value as your baseline and the trend as your report card.

Choose the first fix

Open All Issues and start at the top: Results are ranked using a transparent impact score that includes severity, number of pages affected, and number of new pages. Select one, read the affected file URLs, and use the appropriate workaround: an AI repair plan based on your crawl evidence, a copy-paste patch for titles, metas, robots, or headers, or a task submitted to the template owner.

Resist the urge to fix eleven things at once. A sensible fix verified by the next crawl will show you the loop. The volume comes later.

Schedule the review and get into the routine

Set a weekly crawl and turn on the notifications that interest you. The weekly executive report comes with health movements and a “Focus Now” promotion per location. A routine that works for most teams: read the Monday email, correct what it references, take a look at ranking and backlink changes during the week, and have the next crawl checked. Small, boring, complicated.

Next: Website audits and corrections covers the crawl area, the 40+ audit and intelligence reports, and the fix workflow in detail. Customers get the full guided version inside In-app help center.

Ten minutes to baseline

The free plan is a real plan. Set up the work area and let the first crawl show you where you stand.
